Influence of environmental parameters in operation area onenergy consumption of cold air supply at workstations inautomobile assembly workshops

Taking the operation area of the automobile assembly workshop in hot summer and cold winter zone as the research object, and the PMV-PPD evaluation model and the temperature difference jet model as the theoretical basis, this paper analyses the significance of the influence of thermal and humid environmental parameters in the operation area on the energy consumption of the cold air supply system through numerical simulation, and the energy consumption when any two environmental parameters are coupled with each other under the same PMV conditions is compared. The results show that within the range of comfort level II air parameters, the degree of impact on system energy consumption in order from large to small is relative humidity, wind speed and temperature. The energy consumption of the system is not completely correlated with the PMV value. Under the same PMV conditions, the rate of change in system energy consumption caused by the coupling effect of any environmental parameter with the other two parameters varies greatly, with the maximum being about 55.6% and the minimum being only 3.5%. The research results can provide a reference for the selection of air supply environmental parameters for automobile assembly workshop workstations.
